Some days, for hours on end, I scour sites like Facebook and  +Google+ for ways to engage with the rest of the world for discussions, stimulating debates and ways to be productive and helpful on my time.  I'm not a wealthy person or someone with infinite wisdom.  I don't need to be included in corporate functions to feel important.  With that thought in mind, How come it seems like becoming a successful blogger I need to be competitive, experienced, over qualified and branded?

Do I need to flood +YouTube with video blog posts?  Do I need to be hyper-critical?  Should I start pointlessly oversharing on a topic I know nothing about?
